Sales Development Associate
The Sales Development Associate interacts with existing customers and provides support primarily by phone and email. Works with and provides daily administrative and project-based support to Territory Sales and WD Sales Representatives. Strong communication skills, outgoing personality, and a strong desire to provide great customer service to a variety of customer types are some of the characteristics of this position.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Answer sales calls and customer service calls that come in from the sales queue and Sales emails/ Social Media Sales emails. Assign Dealers/Warehouses to the correct rep or sell product directly to retail customers.
- Assist the Account Managers with their accounts, including order entry, administrative support, sales information, sales estimates and sales tools for their customers.
- Sales Operations tasks as assigned (return for credit RMAs, pricing, documents, CRM, reporting, etc.)
Measures of Success
Learn full knowledge of The Tuning School products, outside vendor products and sales strategies.
Proficiency in CRM (HubSpot), PayPal, QuickBooks and Shopify.
Assisting the team in hitting their quota goals via cross-selling is a key measure of success.
Positive survey responses from the team and customers may also be considered a key measurement.
Cross-Training for other departments (Shipping, Production, Event Support, Etc.,)
Impact on Organization
Excellent customer service and product knowledge will assist Sales Account Managers hitting their monthly quotas and assist with growing accounts.

The most critical relationships will be with the Sales Account Managers as well as all distributors and consumers of The Tuning School brands.
