1. Introduction

Thanks for choosing The Tuning School, Inc. as your provider of High-Performance Tuning knowledge. We appreciate the fact that you chose us to help you on your learning journey. We also want to make sure you have a rewarding experience while you’re exploring, evaluating, and purchasing our products, whether you’re visiting our Online Store, attending a class, or on the phone with one of our staff associates. 

As with any shopping experience, there are terms and conditions that apply to transactions at The Tuning School, Inc. The main thing to remember is that by placing an order or making a purchase at The Tuning School, Inc., you agree to the terms set forth below along with The Tuning School, Inc. Privacy Statement and Terms of Service.  

We fundamentally believe you will be thrilled with the products you purchase from The Tuning School, Inc.. In the unlikely event you wish to make a return or exchange, we invite you to review the following terms related to returning a product.

2. Eligibility

Only items that have been purchased directly from The Tuning School, Inc. can be returned to The Tuning School, Inc.. The Tuning School, Inc. products purchased through other retailers must be returned in accordance with their respective returns and refunds policy.

Items that have been purchased directly through The Tuning School, Inc. are eligible for return within 30 calendar days from the date of purchase. To be eligible, items must be returned in their original packaging, completely unused and in the same condition in which they were received. 

All returns are subject to a 10% restocking fee.* 

*Fees will not stack and be assigned accordingly. 

3. Exemptions

The following items purchased from The Tuning School, Inc. are not eligible for return or exchange.

  • Digital sales and Downloadable software: Please note, all digital sales and downloadable software sales are final. Carefully check the products you intend on purchasing are correct for your application and hardware. If you have any questions, contact us first at Info@thetuningschool.com and we would be delighted to assist you.
  • Online Courses
  • Public and Private Hands-on classes
    • At the discretion of The Tuning School, public classes are subject to a 20% cancellation fee (if refund is approved)
  • All HP Tuner Credit purchases

4. Sale Items

Only regularly priced items are eligible for refund.  Unfortunately, sale items are not eligible for returns or refunds.  Sale prices also cannot be applied retroactively to purchase.  

5. Refunds

Refunds will be processed within 2 business days of being received at our fulfillment center. If after 30 days, the refund still has not been received, contact the card issuing bank of the payment method used on your order to see why the refund has not been posted. If this has been done and there are still questions/concerns regarding your refund, please contact us at info@thetuningschool.com.

Refunds do not include any shipping and handling charges shown on the packaging slip or invoice. Shipping charges for all returns must be prepaid and insured by you. You are responsible for any loss or damage to hardware during shipment. We do not guarantee that we will receive your returned item. Shipping and handling charges are not refundable. Any amounts refunded will not include the cost of shipping.

6. Damaged or Defective Merchandise

Please report damaged or defective merchandise no later than 5 business days of delivery by emailing info@thetuningschool.com for an exchange authorization. Our team will work with you on a timely return and subsequent replacement. Please allow 2 business days for response.  

If your case experiences shipping damage please be sure to keep all packaging/boxes/foam received, as it is required for insurance damage claims. Failure to do so can mean denial of insurance claims. Insurance must be paid for at time of purchase to be eligible.

All exchanges will be inspected for approval and processed within 2 business days from the day returned to The Tuning School, Inc. fulfillment center.  

7. Price Protection

The Tuning School, Inc. offers price protection for full retail priced items only and is not valid on the following items:

  • promotional discounted items
  • sales items
  • public or private Hands-on classes
  • clearance items
  • build-a-bundle purchases
  • Black Friday purchases
  • Cyber Monday purchases

 

For qualified items, price protection is only available within 7 business days from date of purchase.  Contact info@thetuningschool.com for assistance.  

8. Shipping

9. Changes to this Policy

We reserve the right to modify this policy at any time, so please review it frequently. Changes and clarifications will take effect immediately upon their posting on the website.
